Art meets nature!

In Week 5, our Upper Primary students enjoyed a 1.5-hour land art incursion where they explored our wetlands, learning about local vegetation and lizards/skinks with Ellie Ward from Nature Conservation

With guidance from local land artist Elaine Clocherty, students collected fallen natural materials and worked together to create a stunning land art lizard right in the wetlands. They also made clay lizards that will be featured on the Margaret River Nature Conservation River Festival River Trail on 14 March. A creative way to connect with our local environment!
