At Margaret River Montessori School, we believe Montessori education provides a foundation for lifelong learning, independence and wellbeing. Across our two campuses, children and young people are supported through a continuous Montessori journey from early childhood through to adolescence. Whether you are just beginning to explore Montessori education or are ready to take the next step, we welcome you to connect with our School and discover what a Montessori education could mean for your family.

When Should I Apply?

We welcome applications throughout the year, across all year groups, for families wishing to join our waitlist and be considered for future placement opportunities.

We encourage families to apply as soon as they know they would like to pursue a Montessori education for their child, even if their intended commencement is several years away. Our placement planning begins well in advance and sometimes continues through to the term prior to commencement, taking into consideration the composition and needs of each cohort, rather than simply the availability of individual places.

Planning for Term 1 commencement?

We strongly encourage families to submit their application by the start of Term 3 of the preceding year, as this is a key planning period for the following school year. Applications remain welcome after this time and throughout the year. However, opportunities for the requested commencement may become more limited as placement planning progresses. An application allows your child to be included in future placement consideration once it has been completed and accepted onto the waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a placement. Explore Our School

Every family's journey looks a little different. You are welcome to explore our School before applying, or submit an application and continue learning about Montessori education as you progress through the process. We encourage families to attend a campus tour to experience our learning environments and gain an understanding of the Montessori journey available at MRMS. Before You Apply

We encourage families to take the time to familiarise themselves with our School and the Montessori Method before submitting an application. Before applying, please ensure you have read our Enrolment Guide: Application to Admission , reviewed our current Fee Schedule, and explored any additional information you may need to make an informed decision about pursuing a Montessori education for your child. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child's individual circumstances before applying, our Enrolments Officer is available to assist.

Our application process is designed to help us get to know your child, understand your family's educational intentions and support future placement planning. Once you are ready to take the next step, please select the appropriate Application for Enrolment below. To apply, please submit your completed application form, required supporting documentation and payment of the non-refundable Application Fee. Please select the application form based on your child's current age or academic year level, rather than the year group they are seeking to enter.

Bush Babes 0-3 Playgroup

Our Bush Babes playgroup operates during the school term for children aged 0-3 years. Please see our Bush Babes webpage for further information regarding the program and application process. Bush Babes maintains a seperate application process and waitlist.

A Journey Tailored to Your Child

We recognise that every student is unique. Families of children with additional learning, developmental or support requirements, including those seeking extension or adjusted educational pathways, are encouraged to contact our Enrolments Officer early in their enquiry or application journey. This allows us to better understand your child's individual circumstances, discuss the Montessori environment and explore what support may be available.
