Please click here to see our Fee Schedule 2025.
For detailed information about enrolling in Primary School or our Adolescent Program, please read this Information Booklet.
The application process generally follows these steps:
1) Tour - Investigate your schooling options. We encourage all families to visit as many schools as they can when making this choice for their child. Please visit Enquiries & Tours to book your place on the next available tour of our Primary School Campus or Adolescent Program Campus.
2) Application for Enrolment Form - To secure a place on our waitlist, please complete the appropriate Application for Enrolment Form for our Primary School and Adolescent Program. Please note all required documentation pertaining to your child must be submitted and the Application for Enrolment Fee must be paid for your child to be placed onto the waitlist. This form can also be completed earlier in the process.
For an Application for Enrolment in our 0-3 Bush Babes Playgroup please complete the following form Bush Babes Playgroup Application Form. For detailed information about enrolling in Playgroup, please read this Information Booklet.
3) Waitlist - All applicants are added to the waitlist for their requested start year/term. Whilst you are on the waitlist, we will contact you from time to time to keep our waitlist current. If we are unable to contact you, we may place your application on hold and remove your application from the waitlist. Please keep our Enrolments Officer informed of any changes to your contact details.
Please note that we are unable to provide specific information regarding the length of the waitlist or where you are placed due to confidentiality reasons and the complexity of enrolment decisions. Enrolment offers are not based solely on application date and, for many reasons, the waitlist is in a state of constant fluctuation.
4) Observation (Primary School only) - Whilst on the waitlist, you may wish to book in to attend Parent Observations in our Primary School classrooms. This is a “fly-on-the-wall” opportunity to observe how our classrooms are run so that you can make an informed decision. This also provides a time for you to prepare any questions you may have about Montessori. Children do not attend classroom observations and observations are only available in our Primary School.
5) Enrolment Interviews - In the Semester prior to your requested start date, you and your child may be invited for an interview with the Principal. The purpose of the interview is to get to know your child and discuss the suitability of the School, Family and Student to each other.
Please note, not all applicants will be invited for an interview and an interview is not a guarantee of an Offer of a Place. Offers will be made at the discretion of the Principal.
6) Offer of a Place - If you are offered a place, you will receive a Letter of Offer and a Welcome Pack. The Welcome Pack will include an Enrolment Contract and other documentation that will need to be completed and returned with payment of the Placement Fee within two weeks to secure your child’s place.
7) Orientation - A Meet and Greet opportunity in the classroom with your child’s teacher will be arranged prior to your child’s start date if starting in our Primary School.
An Orientation Day for the Adolescent Program is held in the last term for students commencing in the new year.
Parents will be required to attend a Parent Orientation to review the Parent Code of Conduct and Family Handbook. Parents are asked to pursue their knowledge of Montessori education as their children progress through the School, by attending Parent Evenings, Classroom meetings and observing in the child’s class once a semester when possible.
We are here to help. Please do not hesitate to ask for our assistance with regard to any of the above. All forms can be emailed to montessori@margmont.wa.edu.au.
